Each act features a different couple and circumstance. The only common threads are that each story takes place in the same suite, # 719 of the famous Plaza Suite and that it focuses on the relationship between a man and a woman. The first act introduces a not so blissfully wedded couple who are revisiting their honeymoon in an attempt to bring the love back into the marriage. The second act involves a meeting between a former movie producer and his old flame a suburban housewife. The house wife visits the producer at the hotel with a chat between old friends in mind, the producer has other plans. The third act revolves around a married couple on their daughters wedding day. In a rush of nervousness, the daughter has locked herself in the suite's bathroom and refuses to leave.
